Graphic Design Paid Internship Available:
In-office Book Publishing Internship available for up to 24 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at our US Headquarters in North Clarendon, Vermont—just south of Rutland. This position is focused on graphic design work for both print and digital assets and will give you hands-on experience in book publishing, design marketing, and online branding. You will gain experience working on an interesting variety of layout-based graphic design projects including creating print and digital ads, designing web graphics, and managing image assets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to social media content and web banner designs. This paid internship will allow you to add valuable portfolio pieces and practical skills for future employment.
Required Skills:
- Foundational Skills in Adobe Photoshop or Other Comparable Adobe Program– Must have taken a basic graphic design class(es) or be comfortable with:
- Changing image dimensions, color profiles, and formats
- Etching out images and preparing files for use across various platforms
- Understanding basic visual design principles such as color theory, hierarchy, and balance.
- Canva – Prior experience in Canva/Adobe Express is ideal, but candidates with strong Adobe skills who are willing to learn Canva are encouraged to apply
- Time Management & Personal Organization
- A positive attitude and interest in growing your skills!
- Zero Adobe or Canva experience = Not a great fit for this role.
